Contribuisci feedbackOur first time on even keel fish and oyster. we were very pleasantly surprised. the oysters from the west coast were very fresh and tasty. we tried the special grilled cheese sandwich with crumb and truffle oil. it was very tasty and unique. the seafood cahowder was excellent. good security protocols and service were awarded by our server lauren. they move at the end of the year to a place at the sea in lauderdale at the sea. they will do really well there.
The oysters are great and a simple place to hang out. we went in happy hour and had a great time.
The eating looked bland and the server started well, but after our food came on the table, he never checked back and we asked for a few things different and they came out as they are on the menu.
The restaurant followed all the proper Covid protocols which made us very comfortable. The waiter was attentive and knowledgeable as well as extremely likable. We opted for small bites to be able to sample various items as it was our first time dining here. The big hit of the meal was the grownup grilled cheese. The combination of salty and sweet, the crunchy crust and gooey cheese along with a little heat made this so so so enjoyable. This is a dish I would highly recommend and I will go back just to eat this again. We also had oysters which were fresh and seasoned perfectly. We also shared the grilled octopus and mussels. Both were very good and the octopus, which could have been charred just a tad less for my liking, was super tender and the sauce added a spicy kick of heat. We finished it off with a very light and tasty key lime pie in a cup. The owner came by our table to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and to make sure we were happy with our meal. A nice and appreciated touch. Overall a great experience and we will come back again and again.
We have dined at even keel 4 times and we are never dissapointed. They really do have it all. Good food service and ambiance!
