Monks Wine Liquor Cave

While on a minivacation, I stopped at this somewhat inviting place, but I did not wish to waste the gas or try breathing to find a six pack of beer. As Medically Retired Special Operations Counter Intelligence Marine Corps Veteran (can not go without a cannon), I was treated as if I am / would put rubber on the bottom of the owner / General Manager 's shoe. When I was respectful and cordially asked/inquired about the location of the beer in the shop of the owner/general manager, I became involved: find it or go. ...I wish I could have a worse rating for Monk 's Liquor . Thanks for an unforgettable terrible experience.

Enjoy spending a few extra dollars to support small liquor store owners, but the employee in there now is now a pleasure to do business with. I’ll go back in a few months to see if it changes for the better.

Very overpriced. I wanted to support a local shop, but prices were outrageous.

My boyfriend and I are locals to LBTS. Walked in for the first time about 4 months ago to buy a bottle for a birthday gift. The owner barely said hi and then he was on the phone really mad and speaking loud and kind of scary to hear him. Meanwhile I'm trying to find a bottle and couldn't find it. I didn't even want to bother him. Honestly I wanted to leave and never come back but I needed a bottle asap. I finally went to pay and he decides to help a lady find something and doesn't even tell me, just walks away. My boyfriend was like WTF let's go! I said no we just won't ever come back!!! I paid for the bottle and the guy didn't even apologize and he went back on the phone. He didn't even say thank you or wanted to give me a receipt. Horrible experience and customer service!!! El propietario apenas saludó y luego estaba al teléfono realmente enojado y hablando en voz alta que me asusto unpoco. Mientras tanto, estoy tratando de encontrar una botella y no pude encontrarla. Ni siquiera quería molestarlo. Honestamente, quería irme y nunca volver, pero necesitaba una botella lo antes posible. Finalmente fui a pagar y él decide ayudar a una dama a encontrar algo y ni siquiera me dice, simplemente se aleja. Mi novio estaba como queee!? ¡vamos! ¡Dije que no, simplemente no volveremos nunca! Pagué la botella y el tipo ni siquiera se disculpó y volvió a hablar por teléfono. Ni siquiera dijo gracias o quiso darme un recibo. Horrible experiencia y servicio al cliente!!! ¡Nunca volveré ni recomendaré este lugar a nadie!

This local liquor store on the Galt mile has a lot going for it. Linda, the owner is super friendly and she greets people with warmth. I was surprised to see the large selection of items they have in this space. Lots of wine choices like Malbec, Cab, Chardonnays, Pinot, etc. The selection of beers and hard seltzers is impressive, with many of them COLD. Their rum, whiskey and gin prices are very competitive. Love that you don't need to worry about parking in this strip mall (Where the Winn Dixie is). They deliver and they will do most anything you ask them for...they are very helpful.
