Park Ocean - Fort Lauderdale

Short Version: Fast-food service and food at sit-down restaurant prices 18% service charge.Food was out fast...fast-food fast. ?The Mahi sandwich was tasty. $13.90 for sandwich and chips, substitute fries for $3.50.18% service charge on orders over $5. Unless you only order the slaw, expect to pay the 18% service fee for...I don 't know what services (grab your own menu and seat yourself, walk up to counter to place order, return to pick up order, didn 't check on us or offer water as we didn 't order drinks, throw away own garbage).Danielle was personable as we ordered at the counter. She stated she selected no tip but there 's a service fee of $2.50.Sandwich was good, but not $17.90 (after service charge, and expected tax) good...The atmosphere was cool though.No live music on a Sunday afternoon.

This place is such a great time! The live Music is always great and they have great beer options. Their Mule is also really good! Smoked fish dip is yummy. Just really great vibes!

We took the opportunity to escape the busy atmosphere of Fort Lauderdale and venture into the national park. The four of us went kayaking and opted for a one-hour rental. It was a fantastic experience; we spotted a lot of wildlife along the waterway. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this activity.

Food good but 19 for an appetizer is pretty steep. I suppose you are paying mostly for everything but the food. Everything would have been bumped up an extra star if I wasn't forced to tip about 3-5 dollars then have to pick my food up at a counter what is the auto service tip for for?????? I do appreciate that she let me know the tip was included so I didn't double tip.

This state park is fantastic. It offers multiple parking lots and hiking trails, as well as a great beach, dog beach, gift shop, bar, and plenty of picnic seating. It is very dog friendly.
