Pita Pit - Fort Lauderdale

The team members were incredibly friendly! I really loved the concept. My custom Pita was fantastic! The outdoor area was a bit messy, but I believe that's more an issue with the customers not cleaning up after themselves rather than the staff.

Inexpensive and does the job when I'm tired of my same pizza spot and empanada spot. The staff always greets you with smiles and welcomes you. Service is quick and professional. Better than your average fast food option for this type of food. I wish they were open even later than they are.

I came here after a night of drinking with my boyfriend and best friend. My best friend ordered first. She took her banana and chips. I ordered for my boyfriend and I next. We sat down at the table. I don’t even know where to start. My friend was standing talking to the lady. I didn’t know she was picking her toppings for her pita. My friend is friendly, so I thought she was making small talk. Meanwhile, the man working walks up behind me and asks me if I took the half eaten banana that was on my table. I told him no. And he questioned me, “So, who did?” I replied that my friend did. I was confused, didn’t he take her order? Then when my friend got her pita I told her what just happened. She started laughing because the man never even noticed she took the banana without paying cause he was too busy flirting with her. We waited awhile for my boyfriend and my pitas. The people after us got their pita first. Now I was really getting frustrated. I questioned the two working and they had the nerve to ask me, “What did you order?” ARE YOU KIDDING ME? First of all, you took my order. Second, is it that busy for you to forget? There was literally my friend, boyfriend, me and a small group of three there. I had to repeat back my order. The man replied to me saying that I had to stand there, which is why my order took so long. Mind you, the people after us who order and still received their pita before us sat right down after paying. They did not stand by the glass to tell them the toppings. Additionally, this was my first time here, don’t you think you should mention this to me while you saw me sitting there the entire time? I just told him put everything. I should’ve received my food already and just wanted to eat. I didn’t care anymore. He tried to offer me a beer or smoothie on the house, like that was going to make up for the accusation, delay, and mistreatment. I wish I knew their name. I got their picture, however. GREAT FOOD THO! Thai burrito was okay.

The Pita Pit in downtown Fort Lauderdale appears to be a franchise. I need to visit another location to see if this one reflects the overall standard, but if it does, it's definitely worth checking out. The restaurant is conveniently situated in the heart of Fort Lauderdale, close to bars and nightclubs. It's clean, and the staff is very welcoming. I ordered the chicken Caesar Pita as part of a combo with a drink and chips. Everything is made fresh, and there is minimal wait time for orders. The topping bar is impressive, featuring a variety of fresh vegetables and cheeses to customize your meal. The prices are reasonable, and the beverage station offers a good selection, including soda, tea, and fruit juices. Overall, it's a winner!

I really enjoy this restaurant because it's a convenient fast food option when I’m in a rush. The staff are fantastic! Plus, on Wednesdays, they offer double meat for just a dollar—such an amazing deal! I truly hope this company expands further because I would choose it over Gyroville any day! The food quality is also impressive for the price.
