Food was very good. Only minor complaint it seemed the pork and egg in the ramen were prepared in advance and were served lukewarm on top of the piping hot soup broth. It was odd to have a very hot and clearly fresh soup with ingredients on top that were (relatively) cold. The pork was torched on one side before being placed on top of the soup (you can see the other, untorched side in my pictures), but this did not at all warm the meat up on the inside. The gyoza was
The ramen is very tasteful as well as the karakage the only issue we had was the buns they weren't that good but it could just be an off day, The staff was friendly as well as the cook who was nice enough to come around from where he was to check on us
This is a Japanese ramen chain from Korea. I used to visit the original location when it first opened in Fort Lee, and they have since expanded to a second location in Fort Lee, one in Jersey City, and a spot in the Little Ferry H-Mart food court. I'm a big fan of their tonkotsu ramen; the broth is rich and full of flavor. The ramen pairs perfectly with their gyoza. The service is consistently excellent. They have partitions between tables, which adds to the sense of safety. However, parking can be a bit tricky at this location.
Truffle ramen was very flavorful and decadent! Will come back while this seasonal special is still on!
