I requested tilapia and white rice as side dishes, but they were served on the same plate. The cashier kept glancing at the menu board, which is something I was taught never to do in my own restaurant. After 5 minutes of assuring her of my order, she finally entered it into their old cash register. I also asked for bottled water, expecting a brand like Dasani or Evian, but was charged $2.50 for a bottle of President's Choice water instead. The food was actually really good, with well-cooked crispy tilapia and tasty rice. The portion sizes were also generous.
The food at this restaurant is excellent. The coffee is brewed to perfection. I have developed a love for Filipino restaurants because they serve rice all day. I crave loco moco, an Asian dish from Hawaii, every 6 months. Even though it was not on the menu, the chef made a custom meal for me and it was absolutely delicious!
The food at this restaurant is really terrible and overpriced. The service is decent. My family and I opted for various dishes and all of them were quite disappointing, except for my son who enjoyed his hot dog. It's a shame that the quality has gone downhill since the change in ownership, as the previous kitchen used to be fantastic.
The restaurant is amazing, with friendly staff and delicious food. It feels like you are eating a homemade meal. Definitely the best Filipino food in the city.
This is the only Filipino restaurant in Fort McMurray. They serve fresh, delicious meals daily, and all the staff are very friendly.
