Danny's Pizza - Fort Mill

Unfortunately, this restaurant has closed down. I'm quite surprised by this. However, there are two other pizza places within a mile and a half. It's always disappointing to see family-owned businesses go out of business.

We have been ordering Danny’s since we moved here 2 years ago and have always had great pizza! The last 2 times our orders have had mistakes. Ok it happens! This last time the mistake was an entire pizza was wrong and another was missing 1 2 the toppings! When we called to get it corrected it was Christmas Eve we were told they were closing in an hour so they would not deliver a correct one. Ok…so we asked for a refund for that pizza only! We were told “no problem” here we are almost a week later and still no refund!

This was my second visit, the first visit I had the Buffalo chicken pizza and it was great. However this time was a complete disaster, I ordered the baked ziti Friday evening, December 3rd and asked if it came with meat sauce. The girl taking my order didn’t know and put me on hold then came back and said it did. So I pick it up and when I get home, this mystery dish is what I was served and boy was it awful, a dried up, hot mess, literally the saddest pasta dish I’ve ever seen with nothing resembling meat sauce!Moral of the story, order pizza. It’s a pizza place and the pizza is good, they just don’t know how to make a pasta dish and the oldest person working that night couldn’t have been over 18 years old. To their credit, they didn’t even try to fight me about the refund like other places, I think they knew when they sent it out that it was hot garbage.The first pic is what I was served. We ordered a cake that was dry and hard, with two pieces already separated from the rest. It was clearly leftover from lunch. I called right away to report this and asked the young girl if I would receive a credit to my card or a replacement; I opted for a credit. Two weeks have passed, and nothing has been resolved. I tried calling again, but Ft. Mill is now closed. I was informed that the management in Rock Hill is the same as in Ft. Mill. I left my number for a callback, but it seems they are not taking responsibility for this issue, and the pizza was also subpar.

This restaurant has the best wings! I've been a fan of Hooters for over 20 years, but this place is definitely better. Their homemade pizza is out of this world. If you're a fan of chain restaurants, you have to give this place a try. They serve the best torta south of New York!
