My family and I really enjoyed Emmets Social table!1. The restaurant is located in one of the older buildings in downtown Fort Mill. It has a bit of historic charm. It's a small space but they make very good use of it. There is a decent sized patio for outdoor seating, a nice bar with high top seating and then the dining room is divided into a few sections upstairs.2. They have a pretty creative menu with something for everyone. Our kids are picky eaters but they loved the chicken and waffles. My wife and I shared sliders, wings, fries, and tacos. The portions are small but it's perfect for trying lots of food. Everything was seasoned well and presented beautifully.3. The service was excellent. Our food came out in waves. Just as we finished one thing the other food would arrive. The servers were very kind and made certain to clear away any unwanted plates or silverware.4. I would absolutely recommend giving Emmets Social Table a try. The prices are reasonable, it's not the same everyday menu, and they treat you well. What's not to like?Parking: Parking can be a little tricky. There is not a dedicated parking lot. However, it's free parking along the railroad tracks, street side on Main Street, and also a lot across the street behind the other restaurants.
A friend recommended this place to me and gave it a 9.7 out of 10) from his experience. The menu looked great as far as unique dishes and options so I had been looking forward to finally trying it out with a few friends last night. I went to join the waitlist online before we arrived because I had heard it gets busy, but they said due to low volume there was no wait. Not a good sign if this place was really all that, no wait on a Saturday at 8 pm. We tried: Deggs, German sliders, oyster sliders, braised short rib, pork tacos, kale salad, bbq flatbread, Nashville hot sliders, shrimp tacos, buff chicken dip, crispy green tomatoes, tomato shooters THE GOOD..The pork tacos were the only thing I would say was great . Tomato shooters had a tasty melted cheese and were hot and crispy definitely recommend. The oyster sliders I liked definitely unique and nice flavor with the horseradish sauce could use more sauce). Kale salad was kale salad but the goat cheese in it was creamy and fresh. The flatbread had a bbq sauce comparable to sweet baby rays, decent bar food item to pair with a beer. THE BAD… The Nashville hot sliders were dry with too much seasoning that tasted like old bay. They had a really hot dry heat aftertaste. German sliders were over cooked and dry. Deviled eggs were ok but there wasn’t enough flavor or seasoning. The braised short rib was just decent, kind of bland and the potatoes they sat on were just there to be there no taste. The staff was super nice and gave great suggestions and insight, but the food was not good enough for me to ever come back.
Food was amazing! Absolutely loved sitting on the patio. It was a great date night spot and look forward to going back.
Went there for the first time tonight and got a flatbread to go and had a beer while I waited. The hostess was great. Took my order, brought the flatbread, cashed me out. Everything was quick and smooth. The bar was not as attentive as I expected. I just wanted a beer while I waited and I had to ask the 3 staff members standing by me having a conversation if the bar was still open or not. That was slightly annoying. But once they realized I wanted a beer, the bartender got it and cashed me out immediately.Overall, the food and beer was great. Even though the service wasn’t perfect I might stop in again.
