Empire Pizza Fort Mill

Visiting from Rochester NY and the hotel clerk recommended them. Tasty food, large portions, super friendly staff. Kudos to them.

Empire Pizza has very good New York style pizza and very friendly staff to boot! The Dining Room is quite spacious with metal signs decorating the ceiling. They have a full bar with a decent craft beer selection on draught. They run drink specials every day too! Despite the name, they have more than just pizza. They have many pasta options including tortellini, spaghetti and ziti among others. I had the blackened chicken pasta from the lunch specials menu and it was very tasty! They even have lasagna and baked ziti on the menu! If weren't enough, they also have wings that I'm told are quite legit! I haven't had them yet but I'm planning on it the next time I go in. They offer salads too. All in all a great spot in little old Fort Mill! Cheers!

OK Food HORRIBLE SERVICE. It's a shame but I think I'm done with Empire, been coming here for years a couple times a month. Recently the service is TERRIBLE. This past visit, their main dining area was packed with several parties in the back room with only 2 servers working. I always sit in the bar area and although the 2 servers were slammed the bartender couldn't be bothered to help to pick up their slack because she was too busy standing at the back of the bar checking her phone. Their service used to be so much better than this.

It's fine. Not the best. Not the worst. Service was great though. I'd go again if I wanted to have a beer and appetizers. Pizza is edible but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. Pizza can be like wine though, this one didn't wow me.

Ask for Chris at the bar...that's all you need to know. 5. She's the best, knows the menu, will not steer you wrong on drinks. So, sit at the bar and enjoy the food and drink.
