Beached Whale - Fort Myers Beach

Amazing outdoor bar experience! We haven't been down to the beach since Ian. We were excited to see The beached Whale up and running! A big beautiful tent of hope you might say. We stopped to have a few drinks and listen to the live music. Service was great, drinks were great, music was great! We didn't eat, but there was a food truck and everyone eating kept telling the bartender how good the food was.

This is an outdoor bar that has live music every night. They have a permanent BBQ food truck. And can I say the mac,n cheese bowl, topped with pulled pork and he added coleslaw and fresh jalapeños to mine, is literally freaking amazing. He is a transplant resident from Kansas and he is totally killing it. My bf got the burger topped with pulled pork and omg yummmm. The bar is just as awesome. The employees are great and on the ball. A very comfortable atmosphere. The people are all very friendly. It's across the road from the beach so it has a great view as well. All in all this is my favorite place in Florida. By far.

I can’t wait to visit again once they’ve rebuilt. The service was great, live music awesome… loved supporting them during this time of rebuilding.

Even though it's just a tent right now, until it's rebuilt we still love this place
