Slurping Dragon - Fort Myers

I did a quick pick up on my lunch break. As soon as I walked in I was greeted from a very polite young lady. She promptly took my order and informed me it would be about 15 minutes. I was happy to wait, I’ve heard great things. I went out to my car to wait, and not 10 minutes later she went out of her way to bring it out to my car. When I finally got to dig in I was pleasantly surprised. The ramen absolutely blew my mind. I will be back. Kudos to the chef, staff, and absolutely the best ramen I’ve ever had.

I keep getting misleading emails “today only $10 specialty rolls” i call to ask about this special, the lady barely knows any English, yet there is a guy in the background speaking perfect English to her explaining to her how to explain the misleading email. You don’t have $10 specialty rolls, it’s only if you spend $30 or more the rolls are $10 each, your customer service is horrendous. Food is great but extremely over priced. Thank you for spamming me with false information in my emails everyday and wasting my time calling in to someone who doesn’t even know English. Next time put the guy that knows English on the phone instead of making the poor lady who doesn’t understand what I’m saying explain it. Ridiculous…

This was a to go order consisting of the spicy shrimp ramen, veggie ramen, orange chicken over fried rice, chicken gyoza, and egg rolls. By the time I arrived at the restaurant my order was ready to go and we were all super excited to try out this place’s food despite the $70 bill for a take out order, however the experience with the food was all but pleasant.Firstly, no sauces were included in my order for the gyoza nor the egg rolls.Secondly, the ramen was completely tasteless, and both had way more vegetables than ramen in it. I enjoy the noodles a lot and I was disappointed to see that more than half of my ramen bowl was veggies alone.On to the orange chicken over fried rice… the chicken was very tasteful and just perfect, however, the rice was totally uncooked and super hard biting into.Sadly, we were extremely disappointed with most of the food which was truly unfortunate as we were hoping to have found our new go-to ramen restaurant.My short interaction with the staff was friendly and they seemed happy to have an order, as the restaurant was completely empty on a Saturday evening. They place seemed very nice and clean. Again, truly unfortunate that we were so disappointed with the food and misguided by all the nice reviews.

Had a great first experience here! The sushi chef was so friendly and made us an appetizer that was delicious. All around the food was great and the owner made a point to come over and see how our experience was. Will definitely be going back!

The sushi chef Yan is the best in the world, the food was very very delicious.
