Fort Pierce Beach Resort

The rooms are clean, but very outdated. They are working on renovations. I expected more beauty considering the cost per night. The establishment looked chic upon arrival and the air conditioning worked well. We had to change rooms due to my limited mobility, and the new room faced a noisy park. There was constant noise, and one night a person blasted their car stereo loudly for half an hour at 2 am, only stopping when the police arrived. This was apparently a regular problem due to management neglect. The TV in our room was positioned near the door, so every time the air conditioning kicked in, we had to turn up the volume to hear it. The TV had been set to closed captioning, which was not helpful. There were no shelves in the shower, so personal items had to be placed on the shower floor or toilet tank. The biggest issue for me was lack of follow-through on promises. We had to leave a day early due to a pipe burst in our house, and were promised a refund by Michelle, who seemed sincere. Despite calling twice, we have yet to receive the refund promised since August. It seems they have no intention of returning our money. Just be honest.

Wonderful place and kind staff, spent time here last weekend, one view from the balcony is just worth it, I have also been to many hotels, but I have never met such a comfortable bed as here, a huge plus for this too. We will definitely, without a doubt, return to this hotel.

I don't normally write reviews, but I had a very unexpected blessing here! I am the primary caregiver for my elderly parents, and I needed BREAK on the beach. I booked 3 nights at the Sunrise Sands Resort. After staying one night, I got a call that my elderly mom's health had made another turn for the worse, so I checked out early. Much to my surpise, I was given a refund! What big corporate property eod have dive that? NONE, to my knowledge! This small resort has a nice location right on the beach overlooking the Fort Pierce Jetty on beautiful Hutchinson Island. Jetty Park is a great place to walk, swim, and picnic. The room is average for an older property, but it is also much less expensive compared to the newer properties on Hutchinson Island. If you just want to relax at the beach with no frills, try this place and save your money!

Not even a little impressed with the quality of the food or service.

Cancelled my confirmed reservation just hours after I made it. Not very happy as this was for our 51st anniversary. I did get a prompt refund after I contacted VRBO. Glad I reached out to confirm after reading the many poor reviews about lost or cancelled reservations.
