Qdoba - Fort Polk

The food here is affordable and comparable to Chipotle, making it a great option, especially since it's the only location within a 100-mile radius. Burrito bowls cost around $8.40, and you definitely get your money's worth with generous portions. The wait was minimal, and the staff was friendly and welcoming.

We placed our order at noon and it was clear that the food was leftover from the day before—the meat was dry and the tomatoes had lost their vibrant color. The burrito bowl resembled a small salad with very small chunks of steak, even smaller than at other Qdoba locations. I regret not taking a photo because we usually enjoy Qdoba, but this one definitely served smaller portions.

The staff at this restaurant were incredibly friendly, but I have serious concerns about food safety. The meat and rice were served very cold and appeared to have been left out all day without any warming. This significantly affected the quality of the burrito, making it unappetizing. I’m worried that this poses a health risk, and I truly hope the corporate office takes this seriously—someone could end up getting very sick. They need to implement better health standards. Unfortunately, I won't be returning, and I sincerely hope I avoid food poisoning.

Similar to Chipotle. Great place for a fast to go Mexican lunch. Price is fair. Line could be long at times.

How do you review a chain establishment operated by another chain establishment, inside of a military installation? Pretty much the same as any other Qdoba I have been to. Since I work around the country at military installations, I waited until the lunch rush is typically over. At around 1240 there was practically no line and the service was quick. My favorite is the smoked brisket either in a bowl or a burrito.
