Carl’s Jr. - Fort Shafter

This is a place that is a must go to for me when I go to Honolulu. Their hamburgers are the best for me. The employees are very friendly.

Ironically, this is cheaper than McDonald’s. Far more delicious, and much better quality.

First of all, the two ladies working the Carl's Jr, which is also a gas service station, do an amazing job. The food was sooo good. Fries were super fresh, tasty and crunchy as well as the burgers. It has been a while, since I ate at Carl's, but it was as good as I had remembered it. The only thing that was a pity was the fact that it is located within a small gas station and therefore only offers a few seats and no real toilet and no good convenient atmosphere. They would attract many more customers with a real location; there are so many Jack in the Box, Mickey D's or BKs on Oahu, but only this one Carl's Jr. Nevertheless, I would still get the food from Carl's and eat in the car, because of their food quality, which does not taste like fast food at all.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER TO EXIST!!!!VERY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL EMPLOYEES!!!!THEY WILL CHARGE YOU EXTRA FOR KETCHUP AND TACO SAUCE WHEN THE MANAGER DO NOT BUT EMPLOYEES FEEL THEY CAN!!!!

Fried Zucchini!!!Sadly I've been out of the loop and couldn't believe they're out of fried zucchini which is the thing that I always get at Carl's Jr and apparently there's a shortage...I dunno but I was sad lol!This location part of the gas station food mart and is the only surviving Car's Jr on the island and though express isn't the word for it as it shares half the space with the mart but I'm so grateful that's it's still here.With a full menu board it offers all items like any Carl's Jr including Star Deals which are their value items and Star Pals or the kids meal. Their burgers and to say it's pricy I would disagree with the quality they serve in comparison to other fast food and the toppings are very generous and it was the Jalapeño Angus Burger for me the single 1/3lb medium combo which is $14.99 which comes with fries (regular or waffle cut) and drink.You're able to dine in and enjoy your burger which is a nice option they do have a counter with six high stools and serving Coke products the choices of a dozen drinks is quite impressive and I usually don't drink soda I decided on Ginger Ale.The service here is just so nice and friendly with fast service keeping every thing neat and clean this location is not to be missed to have a great charbroiled burgers and with the option to fill up on gas is something pretty cool!Thank you!
