It is overpriced. The $30 pork is a bit dry and quite ordinary. The more premium one which is $40 is better but should be lower in price. And there is very little to go with it for the set menu.
Cute little tonkatsu place in Waikiki area. We had lunch there. My fam loves chicken Katsu so this was a must try for us. The place did not disappoint in taste. Although service is a bit lost. We ordered rolled omelette for starter and chicken Katsu curry sets for lunch. Loved the food and they added a cute little touch by giving Japanese green tea to end the meal. Loved the Katsu set.
Authentic Japanese Tonkatsu restaurant in the Waikiki neighborhood. Staffs are attentive and fantastic! They serve you a tiny mortar and pestle full with white sesames. It’s fun to grind the sesames to make a tonkatsu sauce : . If you are still hungry, request additional rice, cabbage or miso soup!
Seems high quality Tonkatsu; so 4 just because I am not a Tonkatsu fan.
