Aj's Oyster House - Fort Smith

Crowded on a Friday night at 6pm, my choices were to sit outside (too cold) or at the bar (too crowded) or wait for an inside table (at least 30 minutes). So I sat at the bar, the last seat against the wall. Bummer there was nowhere to plug in my phone and I got to rub elbows with some nice folks. Cup of gumbo to start was tasty though too much okra and not enough seafood. The muffin with it was delicious. For main, I chose the oyster poboy. A reasonable price and it had an appropriate number of fried oysters on it. The bread was tasty and included a big pile of parmesan-dusted fries that were nicely done. I enjoyed my dinner other than the crowd and loud-ish music. A power outlet under the bar would have made if five stars. Parking: Street parking and paid lots all around.

Love this place. Food is awesome and service is outstanding. Honestly could go weekly if budget allowed. Prices are steep but worth it. Can't recommend enough.
