I am a farm boy who has raised his own steer on chalk and hoe for bark. I was through and decided that this little hole in the wall looked good. since 1964 named howard’s (alter timername)? I'm in. read the reviews and was a bit off, but I got the same on the walmart next door and was on a 10 hours round trip with a goosevel so I decided to try. I'm glad it was great. the staff was also super friendly and we talked all the time, the woman on the theke even called me with names after they saw it on my card, these are old school-worth and real carefree. also got my jalapeno double cheeseburger, curly fries, and discounted big sweet tee for $10 and change, can not beat that most places today. I would go back in a heartbeat, and I wish they were closer because I am regular!
Really enjoyed our stop at Howard’s. The food was good and I definitely enjoyed the onion rings. It is small and quiet but a hidden gem. Service was quick and the staff was friendly. Food was also a good price.
Ended up here after a long day of driving. Food was excellent. Cooked while waited no heat lamps. The iced tea was great. Our meals were great! The 2 employees were incredible. This is a very busy place and they stayed up on everything. Really impressive! Nice variety in the menu. Prices reasonsble. Highly recommend. We really appreciate that our business was appreciated!
Cheeseburger was very good if you like mustard and lettuce (which we do). Would stop here again in a heartbeat. They did give ketchup packets on the side. Was roughly $23 for 2 cheeseburgers, a corn dog, fries, onion rings, a shake, a chocolate sundae, and an ice tea. The people were also very nice.
Great place for lunch! BBQ lunch special on Mondays was very good. Nice people too!
