Mcalister's Deli - Fort Walton Beach

I don't usually write reviews, but today I felt compelled to share my experience. I came in for lunch alone and, before I went inside, I had a full-blown anxiety attack while sitting in my car—it was just one of those days. Once I placed my order, I found myself in tears at the table. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to one of your employees, Hailey, who came over and gently rubbed my back until I calmed down. She quietly went back to her duties, but her kindness meant the world to me. I really needed that support more than I realized. On top of that, the food was absolutely amazing!

Every time I order from here that there is always something wrong. This will be my last time. It's never the door to destroy people, it's always the people who work for McAlisters. I was really excited about my Broccoli and Cheddar soup to go with my sandwich, but no. I didn't get my soup, I just got a simple broccoli.

The sandwich was quite good. I had it because our workplace ordered from there, and it was my first time trying this place. The bread was soft, the vegetables were fresh, and the turkey was flavorful. The cookie was definitely the highlight—crispy on the outside and wonderfully soft in the middle. It also came with some jalapeño chips. I'll definitely come back for more next time!

On July 16th at 3:20 PM, I found the restaurant closed again. This is the second time I've attempted to visit during their advertised operating hours, only to find it shut. This is not an acceptable way to run a business.

Worst place ever, their manager is rude and the service is the worst. I ordered a salad and I have never seen a restaurant use more old and withered lettuce leaves than they used in my salad and the avocado was even worst, it was very old. Pictures included below, they even put that joint part of the lettuce in my box
