Luming's Corp - Fort Washington

I'm visiting my daughter in DC from Kansas City, and I always make it a point to dine at Lumings. The service and food are consistently excellent, and they never disappoint. There's a wide range of choices on the menu, and the food is always fresh. I highly recommend visiting them!

This was my first experience with Filipino food, and it was a great spot for lunch with a good selection. However, I wish they labeled the dishes in the hot bar, as I had no idea what I was ordering. The servers were friendly and patient with me, answering my questions about the dishes and how spicy they were. I think I nearly tried everything, and I was pleased to find that it all tasted fantastic.

This restaurant might throw you off at first glance as you exit the highway, but I've learned that a full parking lot is often a good indication of quality. The dining area is a bit cramped, so be prepared that you might not be able to find a table. I ordered the spits, pancit, and veggie egg rolls, and I absolutely loved everything. As for the mango juice, it was delicious! One of my colleagues had the curry, and the only feedback was that it could use a bit more spice. Another colleague tried the chicken adobo and mentioned that while the taste was fantastic, there were some small bones to watch out for. They all paired their meals with cantaloupe juice, which I definitely want to try along with the curry on my next visit. Overall, I highly recommend giving this place a chance!

The BEST Filipino food I've had in years!! If you don't know what the food is, just ask. My go to is always adobo and pork steak with onions.. The chicken skewers are also on point, but I always reheat them when I get home for late night snack Their prices are still great even after the increase. Portions always great. Make sure you have them add the stew sauces in your rice!!!

One of the best Filipino food in Maryland! They have a wide variety of Filipino food to choose from! They also have Lechon to order- the roasted pig famous in the Philippines and Hawaii. You won't regret if you eat here or take a to go box. They also cater.
