Ft Wayne Country Club - Fort Wayne

We had a lovely 50th high school reunion at FWCC in October 2021. The food was excellent (buffet-style, pork, chicken, salmon along with fresh salads/dressings and nice veggies; also a delightful veggie and cheese buffet for the happy hour). It was the venue itself and the excellent service that was most appreciated. Plenty of room to socially distance and the servers were exceptionally helpful and kind. All in all, a really wonderful environment for our reunion!

Had a lunch meeting with a client of mine today at the County Club. The hostess was gracious and honored my reservation and sat us immediately. Once seated the server came and gave us the specials of the day and disappeared. We didn't see her for at least another 20 minutes, and that is no Exaggeration. Once she reappeared, she took our order and the food came pretty quickly. My client ordered the superfood salad which she said was amazing and it was of size that she couldn't eat it all. I chose the less healthy option, Cajun Chicken sandwich which was very good. Seasoned well and hand cut fries which were cooked to perfection. I give the rating of 3 mainly because of the wait. It was lunch hour and most people don't have hours to spend. Sure, some people may have been stopping in after being on the golf course for a bite, but clearly we were on a business lunch considering we were dressed up with papers and such. I would go back just not when I'm taking a client for lunch.

We have been members for 4 years now and love this place! The golf course is beautifully maintained and the staff is always accommodating. My husband and I play in the golf and tennis programs and they are very well run. Our kids are also involved in the junior golf and tennis, and they love it. The pool is also a summer favorite, and there are many dining options available- pool, pub and patio and the dining room- all great choices!
