The Friendly Fox, LLC - Fort Wayne

I love trying new restaurants and my girlfriend wanted to try this one so I figure we would. The atmosphere seemed okay was an older building with a kind of a modern feel, the food is where I clash when you go to a place that sells sandwiches you expect to get a sandwich... my girlfriend ordered her sandwich there was barely any lunch meat and this was a lunch meat sandwich that they wanted $12 for. you expect a sandwich so high with lunch meat and fixings but no this was paper thin and not what it's cracked up to be. My beef brisket sandwich was like one layer of beef brisket and you expect it to be filled with beef brisket but no, the sandwiches were not up to speed I upgraded it from chips to potato salad and my girlfriend upgraded to corn chowder and they both were disgusting the corn chowder had no salt, the potato salad was what is this concoction is that's what I thought on top of it the appetizer for $12 you figure you would get something to appetize you but instead they gave me four little football shaped filo stuffed chorizo that was also Bland four bites is not an appetizer for $12 I could have went to a gas station and got better quality food restaurants. I feel so ripped off for $45 that I paid.

First time at the Friendly Fox last Friday, and the breakfast scrambles were delicious! Photos one and two are both scrambles that you have the option of getting as a breakfast wrap. Photo one is a Soutwest scramble with red onions, cheese, southwest sauce, and chorizo. Photo two is a veggie scramble with onions, spinach, and cheese (usually comes with mushrooms). Photo three is a salted carmel latte. If you want something a little sweeter, they have other options. I'm going to experiment with their coffees with each visit. Great location if you want to stop get breakfast before work. Or have small intimate breakfast dates.

One of my favorite neighborhood spots! Great coffee, great selection of delicious food and the brunch on the weekend.. yum! They also have a beautiful new outdoor seating area that is so inviting. Beer and wine is served too!

While the location and atmosphere of this shop is very nice, every time I have been there I have the same experience--that I am unwanted as a customer. This place seems like it cannot decide if it is a coffee shop or a restaurant. If I go there just to enjoy leisurely drinking my coffee, it always feels as if the employees are rushing to get me to leave. Today I went with my wife to celebrate our anniversary since this is where we met. When we said we were just getting drinks and a snack the barista actually asked us to move out of the main room and into a stuffy backroom. There was no one else waiting for a table, and there were obviously plenty of tables since they had some in the back room. So I agreed initially since I was confused. However, after 10 minutes no one had moved to the table that we were previously sitting in, and so I asked if we could move back since we wanted to sit in the sunny front room. The barista somewhat snottily said, I guess that 's fine. I don 't know, I guess just be aware that if you have the audacity to order coffee from a coffee shop to be ready to be treated like a second-class customer.

Horrible service with getting your food on timeThe staff is friendly but get "swamped" pretty quick.
