Tim Hortons - Fort Wayne

This was my first visit, and it felt like the staff was too preoccupied with training to provide good customer service. Overall, it seemed decent. I might give it another chance in the future to see if the service improves.

I was planning on giving Tim Hortons another chance after all the bad experiences I had at the other units that closed in my city. By chance I was close to this one today. Unfortunately, their headquarters, being in Canada, probably directed this unitto have their dining room closed. Sorry, but my vehicle will not safely fit through a drive thru. Bad business decision inregards to a location in the Midwest. That just says your company doesn't want my money, fair enough.

I arrived at around 2:00 p.m. and noticed there were four cars in front of me in line. When it was my turn at the menu board, a gentleman asked, "How can I help you?" After placing my order, he acknowledged it, and I mentioned that I would like to get some TimBits to take home for my children. However, as I was about to finish, I heard voices coming from the speaker, and one person said, "We're closed." I was confused and asked, "You're closed???" to which he confirmed, "We're closed." This is not an effective way to run a business. When a customer approaches the menu board and is greeted with "How can I help you?", it shouldn't end by being told the establishment is closed after ordering. At the very least, customers should be informed that the business is closed before they are asked for their order. The drive-thru window clearly states that they are open until 5 p.m., yet they closed at 2 p.m.

Tim Bits (TB's) is a great place for morning coffee. The staff is helpful, and the service is both fast and friendly.

Every time I go to this location, it feels like something is always out of order—like the espresso machine. They often run out of different items and usually have a limited selection of donuts. I’ve never met a friendly employee; they always act as if my presence is an inconvenience. It’s really disappointing, especially considering how great the location is.
