Bob's Steak Chop House - Fort Worth

Food was very good. For the prices, I thought service should have been more attentive. As we were a party of 8, an automatic gratuity was added without us being told. Would have been courteous to let us know verbally before we paid our bill

It was 9:15pm on a Thursday night during a holiday week, and I found myself struggling to find a place to eat after a long day at work. Unfortunately, both Wine Thief and Bob's were closed for private events by that time. It was tough to find a restaurant still open at that hour to grab a bite to eat.

Bob's is usually our go-to spot for special occasions and we typically have a great experience there. However, during our recent birthday dinner celebration, we were disappointed by the slow service and long wait for our food. After finishing our salads, it took over 30 minutes for our server to return and remove our plates. It was another hour before our main meals finally arrived, and our server only checked on us once or twice. Despite it being a Tuesday evening with few customers, the lack of attention and empathy shown towards our wait was disappointing. While the food was still good, the overall experience left us feeling let down. We may not choose Bob's for our next special occasion.

Sorry, I know I'm so late to give a five star review which almost a year ago. On Jan 11th 2023, I had a dinner at that night and it was freaking wonderful. Resolution was a key due to difficult situations, everything were smoothly perfect fine. Second time, received ticket for free meal includes dessert. Satisfaction with the result.

Service was impeccable. I can't say I was amazed by the food. It was good. But expected to be blown away. The giant carrot in the middle of the plate is, for lack of a better word, weird. I will most likely try a different steakhouse next time in Fort Worth.
