Hollywood Burger - Fort Worth

Very disappointed after reading so many bright reviews and see so many 5 star reviews. We went right behind two other people at about 5:50. There were two people waiting for their food. Ordered our food to wait at 6:02, wait. People who have ordered before us not yet eat 6:45 I go up to ask when our order would be done she goes back and comes back with one of our burgers and my burger was in a cardboard box on the counter, she put my burger in a basket and goes back to get my onion rings. I'll go and sit down and the onion rings were cold. I went and stood there to tell her that they were cold, they replaced her quite quickly with fresh hot, and I'm sorry to say that this was the only good part of the meal. The burgers were very warm. the bungalow was very heavy. The frits were hot, but tasted like they were reheated.. On a good note they had a nice living bar. We're not going back.

If your looking for that home cooked burger crunch you need to try this for place! The best burgers I?ve ever had living here in DFW for 2 years now! Plus the people who own it also work there and prepare the good fresh when you arrive they are so sweet and kind! I pray nothing but blessing over their humbleness??

I have visited this restaurant a few times and I remember being impressed by the freshness of the ingredients. However, in the last year or two, I have noticed a decline in the quality of the Burger Patties specifically. The buns are butter-toasted and the fries are pretty good, but the Burger Patty was dry and lacked flavor. I am willing to give them another chance and try other items on their menu.

"I would say it's average. I would recommend trying the bacon cheeseburger with fries and onion rings. The onion rings were quite tasty, although the fries could have been crispier. The bacon had a nice flavor. However, the downfall of the dish was the choice of cheese. American Singles did not complement the burger well and the taste of processed cheese overpowered the entire dish."

I never say this, especially about a burger place, but, WOW! I have passed by Hollywood Burger in Blue Mound about a million times! Never stopped by because it was always in between my meals, but was always curious. Today I had the opportunity to visit the one in Keller. It did take about 15 to 20 minutes for my order, which was the Cowboy sandwich (grilled chicken bacon provolone), added avocado and romaine lettuce. The sandwich is 5 inches in diameter, Grilled chicken was juicy and deliciously seasoned, bun was toasted with butter (yum). I also ordered a side of sweet potato fries-perfectly salted, such a great size I couldn?t even finish them all! I paid extra for the avocado and was pleasantly surprised at the generous amount on my sandwich (I have gone to several [chain] places where I received like 2-3 slivers). I paid almost $15, just for mine, and I will do it again, totally worth it!
