Izzy’s - Fort Wright

Love the sandwiches here! Prices are somewhat steep, but the food is excellent and the service is even better. Usually stop here every Wednesday morning when they open and try something new. The guy on the counter always greets me with a real smile and is quick to help me with all the questions like me to surf menus.

I'm going to lunch because I work nearby. The staff is always accommodating and has a great task to turn us on and off without it taking too long. You're incredibly friendly. The food is consistently delicious and I love the complementary pickles that we get every time!!!

This place is fantastic. Seats in the indoor/outdoor area, the staff is as friendly as possible, and the food is amazing! I'm a long time Izzy's Reuben and Potato Pancake Fan and this place never, ever dissapoints. The people working at the Ft.Wright site are top notch. Great place to catch a bite!

I liked Izzy for a while. Only ate there when I was in school in the late 80s. Great sandwiches, reubens, soups, potato pancakes and pimples. Eating is a contract. I loved her grilled beef on Pumpernickel. You have a great cow soup. Best potato pancakes ever.

If you are looking for the original Ruben sandwich then you have found the right place. It is simply the best corn beef in town! They also have unparalleled potato pancakes. Should you not however be a traditionalist then they have a great number of other sandwiches which you will love. The also have great soup. My personal favorite is the potato soup! It is a spotlessly clean location and the staff of course are both courteous and fast. As always, Enjoy!
