le buffet - Fougères

I took my mother, she loved it absolutely. they even ate their first chick and raves over eating. for me it was a bit dated and formal for this si also part of its charm. eating was good and plentiful, the personal friendly. and friendly and gloomy was amazing. well expensive just needs a bit of an update inside.

Came for the market yesterday but having purchases lots of local produce, cheeses, cold meat, local garlic and onions, and two great smoked duck breasts, we thought we would follow it with a lingering lunch. Surprisingly little open, but Le Buffet came up trumps. Maybe...half full, about four fixed priced menus and a carte. Useful attractive and tasty buffet and a satisfying if slightly limited but sufficient wine list. Hospitable helpful woman running the show. We thoroughly enjoyed our hour or so.

Le buffet is a small cosy restaurant in Fougeres very welcoming. My wife and I found this restaurant and decided to give it a try outside was a bit tired looking, but inside was very nice. The meal was a buffet starter and sweet with...main course served. This was the best meal we had in France would got back anytime. The food was excellent the service was first class and value for money was unbeatable.

We enjoyed our 16,50 € meal of 4 curses! the maitre d’ could not have been more friendly or helpful. the food was very tasty and tasty and the wine was also very tasty!

I went with my friends and family on a Wednesday evening and it was very quiet, but the hostess was very courteous and funny. the menu was extensive and eating good quality. 10/10 one of our favorites.
