Sabrosada - Fountain Valley

Fantastic quality and great prices! I find myself resisting the urge to visit every day. This is definitely my go-to spot for comfort food.

The burrito I had was enormous. I tried the chile verde with grilled onions and peppers. It was decent, though a bit dry, which was surprising considering the meat is slowly cooked in tomatillo sauce. I requested some extra green sauce, and that definitely helped. The horchata was tasty, and the service met my expectations for a fast food spot. Overall, this place provides good value and has late hours, which is really convenient. It's nice to know there’s a late-night option nearby.

This was the first Mexican restaurant I ever visited, and I had a great experience. I ordered the shrimp burrito, which was delicious, while my friend tried the chicken enchiladas but didn't enjoy them as much. Since it was my first time, I wasn't sure what to expect, but the staff were very patient in helping me choose. The dining area was nice and well-maintained. They offered a variety of salsas, including mild, medium, and hot, along with some vegetables and lemons. Enjoying my tasty shrimp burrito while it rained outside made for a lovely experience. Since the late 90s. Great food to a great value. We usually get the Carne asada burrito and the Carnitas record, both big. Also the fish taco plate and flaute are great.

Sitting in the restaurant as I write this review. This is a solid Mexican joint. Small enough to be laid back and enjoy your meal with a friend or two without feeling rushed. I had the beef hard taco and enchilada. The taco was on point, but the enchilada needed more time to melt the cheese inside. The menu seems to have a nice range of options, so i am most definitely coming back to try out more choices. The chips seemed fresh and warm. Kid's menu seems super kid friendly for those picky eaters. Salsas were super tasty and I want more. They have signature Mexican sourced drinks and the staff is super friendly. They even have a drive through for the lazy bones that will most likely go thru eventually.
