Heimat - Frankfurt am Main

I reserved a table almost 2 months ago. On the day of the reservation I received a call and confirmation that the reservation was made, but that in the evening we would be seated at the bar and we would get a drink there until our table was free, which was promised to us on the phone. When we arrived at the restaurant, our jackets were taken away by an unfriendly gentleman and we were seated directly at the counter. We were told that as soon as one table became available we would be seated. We didn't think anything of it and just started ordering. After our first drinks we noticed that a table behind us had become free. When the first waitress came (a slightly older lady) we asked what was wrong with the table. She only replies that the table was reserved and the next one would be for us. So two regular guests came in and sat down directly at the table. When our starter came, we asked the waiter that it didn't look so good that we would get a table. She just answered yes and left. When me and my girlfriend just looked at each other and wondered if that really just happened. After this incident, I noticed how people were talking about us behind the bar. After that moment I wanted to leave but didn't want to ruin my friend's evening. When the next drinks came, we noticed that the old waitress was no longer serving us but had swapped places with another colleague. The new waitress (younger lady) was very friendly and tried to save the evening somehow. The food was excellent but the service was disastrous. I don't know if it was because of my last name but it had nothing to do with home.

We were there with 7 people for the Christmas menu. It was outstanding. Food, service, ambience simply great. How you can conjure up such things in a small kitchen is really an amazing achievement. Thank you Price per person: €60–70 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

With the place half full I was told they were fully booked. There was no empathic kindness from the hostess to explain. Racism at its finest. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Wir waren an einem Samstag abend hier und selbstverständlich hatten wir reserviert, wir hatten am Tresen Platzgenommen, da wurde uns schon das Wasser serviert mit Brot und Dipping-Oil, perfekt. Wir entschlossen uns für Tatar vom Rind , meine Frau für Foie Gras. Beides ein Genuss!!! , Zwischengang auf zwei Tellern Pasta mit Trüffel, und Hauptgang Lammrüchen und meine Frau Heilbutt gebraten, beides sehr gute Portionen und gute Beilagen. Wir waren vollauf zufrieden. Für den Nachtisch war leider kein Platz mehr, aber ein kleinen Gruß zum Abschluß aus der Küche geht halt immer. DANKE IHR WART GROSSARTIG..... ein gelungener Abend

Ich hätte der 'Heimat' wirklich gerne eine Chance gegeben und meiner besten Freundin zur Hochzeit einen Gutschein geschenkt. Die Chance wurde mir aber nicht gegeben, da diese leider nicht verschickt werden. Im Grunde kein Problem, wird nur dann ärgerlich und albern, wenn man am Telefon in einer hochnäsigen Arroganz abgespeist wird und einem deutlich zu verstehen gegeben wird, dass man das nicht nötig hat und auch nicht von Interesse ist! Schade, sowas habe ich nicht nötig und der entstandene Eindruck passt zu vorherigen Kommentaren bezgl. der Arroganz der Inhaber und Mitarbeiter!
