Lokalbahnhof - Frankfurt am Main

I had the vegan burger and it was simply bad. The patty was homemade which is OK, but the burger was cold, with a lot of ketchup and very mushy. Moreover the fries were industrial, very dry and tasteless. It is a pity since the place is very nice, but the food simply does not deliver the expected level.

Great and authentic German food! Went here with my family and was delighted to know they had an amazing Schnitzel! Would definitely recommend to anyone coming to visit Frankfurt. Order the Chilischnitzel!

Great way to start the day; fantastic coffees and hot chocolate with lashings of fresh cream!Pancakes with maple syrup and Nutella; bircher and yoghurt; and Fried eggs with bacon & chorizo.Just what we need on our last day in Europe before a long tedious 27 hour flight home to NZ.The wait staff were super friendly and patient with all our coins when we just managed to scrape together the bill when again were caught out with the restaurant having no eftpos! Cash only!Great ambience.

Last week i had breakfast at the lokalbahnhof. They have a very nice atmosphere . staff is really nice as well. Indoor / outdoor seating. A big breakfast menu selection.

First of all it was really pleasant the fact that the waitress was spoken English, a rare phenomenon.We had lovely schnitzels with potato pancakes and another one with green salad, not all of them tasteful and of course we drunk apple wine, a local taste. Non smoking area, that was also a plus for us.You should try it.
