UPDATED 1. June 2020 This Shoney is constantly CLOSED. The building is for sale, however, and can be for only $4,500,000 his Shoney has been there since I was a child if I remember correctly that a man named Ray Danner started this place in Madison, Tennessee. I didn't check my facts, so forgive me if I'm wrong. Unfortunately, this restaurant cannot do anything to grow its clientele. Over the years, they have tried new menus and offers, but all here I drive do not seem to have very full parking. I don't understand, because their breakfast bar is excellent! I went there three times in the last few months, and I don't see anything except a lot of great food and a lot of it. All on their breakfast bar is well cooked and delicious, and there is plenty of variety, even their salad bar is part of the breakfast offer. The salad bar is open all day. I totally dig Shoney's, try if you haven't been there or it was awhile. You'll like that. Very friendly and attentive staff at Franklin, Tennessee.
Pleasant atmosphere. The staff was very friendly. Food Buffet: That was delicious, at least what was there. Few choices, but good. A roommate had a cheeseburger and fries that they enjoyed. Would eat there again and refer it to others.
The server, Carolyn, was very friendly and attentive. We haven't seen each other for a long time, so we stopped the table for a while. The food was good, but the stuffed crab was not fresh when we first came here. I would have loved a dessert, but at the price of the buffet, Dessert was a bit much. This is really my only complaint.
Very clean and very friendly staff. Good food at a good price.
