We were greeted promptly and seated, ordered our pizza and drinks. The waitress was very friendly and professional. This is a small restaurant with only 5 tables, 4 with 4 chairs and 1 with 6 chairs. There is a bar that can seat about 12 and serves alcohol. This is also cash or check and they have an ATM if needed. The pizza was delicious and hot with plenty of cheese. They even have real silverware and plates unlike some places with plastic forks and knives and paper plates. We recommend this restaurant for delicious pizza but I'm sure that you might have to wait at certain times.
We found this place by accident while driving into town. I was in the mood for some really good pizza and we definitely found the right place.
A server can add to to detract from a restaurant visit, in our case at our first visit to Vitos, she added to it with her pleasant personality. I only wish I could recall her name (she’s a local mom of three whose grandfather is a self-taught gem cutter). We weren’t looking for pizza, but we were in town for the Gem Show had trouble finding a place to eat after 8pm, so found Vitos by default. I wasn’t in a pizza mood, so I tried their chicken parm instead. According to our helpful server, a lot of their sauces dressings are homemade from Vito’s own family recipes. She did a great job of making everything sound wonderful special. If she isn’t family, she certainly takes enough pride in their restaurant to be. And the other patrons appeared to be regulars, so that is a good sign, too. Their food was good, perfectly cooked pizza w fresh toppings, my parm came out steaming hot. If we’re looking for pizza on our next visit to Franklin, we’ll definitely stop in Vitos again hope to see the same pleasant gal greet us.
We went to Vitos on a Saturday night in July. Around 715pm. We were asked to wait briefly while a table was cleaned. The restaurant wasn’t packed, but there were more tables occupied than not, and it looked like 3 people were running the show (and busting their rear ends to do it). Our waitress apologized for the delay, but the wait was minimal. We ordered the special (18 inch pizza and cheese sticks) and there were no issues with our request to split toppings on part of the pizza. The breadsticks came out first and were very good as was the pizza. I was actually impressed by how well the staff handled the lack of help which seems to be quite a problem in Franklin at the moment. Kudos to the staff for maintaining good customer service and quality in a trying time. We will be back on our next trip to Franklin.
By far, the best pizza in town!!! We have a summer home here and never can wait to get here and get a pizza!! Have been going for years! We have always been treated kindly by the owners, whether we dine in, or pick up! Will be going this week! Can’t wait!!
