Wegner's St. Martins Inn - Franklin

We went for an early fish fry and were seated promptly. We ordered two Old Fashioneds, which were very good. The waitress said she would be with us shortly, and she was. We had a table by the wall near the entrance and the bar. Our meal arrived quickly, but I needed another drink soon after. I placed my glass at the other end of the table and tried to get the waitress's attention, but she quickly left to attend to the people next to us at the bar. When she finally returned and asked if I wanted another drink, I had already finished my meal. Unfortunately, our last name is also Wagner. If you go, be sure to try the potato pancakes as they are very good.

We had a Wonderful Fish Fry, with potato salad, potato pancakes, and rye bread. My husband, also, had a bowl of Clam chowder and it was Delicious ! We would highly recommend it! Went for a fish fry and was nicely surprised. The fried scallops, cod, walleye, and baked haddock.....wow!! And the service was very nice and attentive. Great bar wirh a great service as well!!! Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
