That's a real deli. I ordered the classic Italian submarine sandwich, and all the bread, meat and cheese were cut right in front of my eyes. A bit of vinegar and oil and dusted with salad and tomatoes – my sandwich was ready to be packed in paper. The results are delicious! There are specials every day. I should probably have tried today's special, but I had already ordered. No matter how I will eventually be back in the non-too-distant future. I don't agree that this place is ghetto. I would call it a working class. If the restaurant seems closed, you must go to the convenience store (where the deli is actually).
Ghetto fabulous 40oz and Corned Beefs. Go to Weds. This is the only day they wear Corned Beef! It's the second best in the world. People are rude here, so don't expect the service time to be a liqueur for God. It is really ghetto here, but there is a ton of bulls eating here ALWAYS!!!!!! Your safe. Corned Beef with honeymoon and horse sauce!
The sandwiches are fantastic! The bread is the perfect combination of chewing and crusty, and the meat and the beats are generous. The filled olives cannot be beaten. Go to Al and Joe and you'll be very happy.
A&J's is a deli that doubles as a mini grocery selling convenience goods and booze opening at the crack of dawn at 5am. It also has a restaurant connected next door that serves pizza, pasta and beer where you can eat the fresh hand made sandwiches on site
