The food quality is comparable to favorite steak houses of mine like Sparks or the Striphouse in New York or Del Frisco's or Capital Grill in Philadelphia (minus the ambience and City vibe) .My server was fantastic. The hostess was accommodating and she my reservation for me the day of and the place was packed on a Tuesday night. There is a nice little lounge downstairs to get a Manhattan or cocktail before your meal. Food and service, 10 out of 10. The interior design could use a refresh, But that's being really picky. I had a great night and would highly recommend this place to my friends in South Jersey. The price was reasonable and inline with the quality and I honestly don't think I've had a better meal in the state.
First time visiting. Have heard nothing but good reviews from friends. Went with the Mrs for out monthly date night. Food was excellent. Prices are fair. The server Mike was excellent as well. Would recommend for any occasion.
Great food as usual. A couple of changes have happened recently. The last couple of times we have gone there the server has not told us of any specials and anything added to the menu. Maybe they no longer do drink or meal specials or extra items but if not thats a shame. Also, they used to have an after dinner mint that was a long stick like mint. They replaced that with an regular mint. Now they dont do the mint. These little things gave the restaurant character and made it a special place to go.
The service was excellent, the quality of the food, always great. The place itself is a little worn and needs some sprucing up. The price is high, the crab cakes were $42, and the filet is $42, with that you get a salad, warm bread and one vegetable. The food is served without any embellishments. The presentation could be a little more interesting for that kind of money, with that said, it's the only place my husband will order steak, again because of the quality of the food. We each ordered a Manhattan, one extra vegetable to share and one dessert to share, with a 20% tip, the bill was $160.
The service was perfect and the waitress was very accommodating. We did not have to wait long for our food, and it was tasty and satisfying. The atmosphere was warm, friendly and relaxing. We could not have asked for a more pleasant and enjoyable dining experience. Thank you Franklinville Inn for making our date night a truly delightful experience.
