Monsoon At Rainforest

Was recommended to stay here by some fellow campers I met two evenings before, and boy, were they right! The place was adequately staffed, and most sites are near to the amenities, which were fantastic by the way. Great shower, sizeable kitchen with dishwashing liquid and tea towels, and a lounging area with couches and roaring fire. Four Square supermarket, where everything in Franz Josef Village is centered around, is also a short walk away. Took a chance and stayed at the holiday park next door the following night and that was the biggest mistake I made my entire trip in NZ you probably can't get anywhere else better in Franz Josef than Rainforest Retreat. Couple lights don’t work in my room. Wifi is an issue have not bothered fixing. And the exhaust fan in the bathroom has years worth of dust all built up in it.

Staying the night in a room. The rooms are lovely and comfortable and very clean....
