The food was excellent however the menu and selection was to sparse. Not much to chose from. Service was sort of OK but a little un-engaged. Will I visit again? Well not sure, but I wont go out of my way for it.
Not sure about the price because breakfast was included in my room rate, but the food is very good. Nothing spectacular, but a nice variety and all very tasty. It's definitely worth eating here even if you aren't staying in the hotel.
We absolutely recommend the restaurant of this Best Western. First, the waitress is a charm and will make you feel at home. Second, the food is homemade no doubt about that and delicious. We went for the 3 course menu, starting with soft chicken pies, then moving on to a tasty and tender beef served with homemade potatoes, before a light ice cream. And a special mention for the mayonnaise! Whether in Fredericia or Kolding, a good address.
We had a terrible experience. First, we had ordered burgers for 4 children. Everyone of them was undercooked. Not a little, they were raw in the middle. Afterwards the exact same happened for all the adults. 29 people had the same dish, 22 were returned to the kitchen, raw. Next, we were told the issue was us. That it was supposed to be pink meat (it was raw). They then reheated the fries and gave us new cold sauce, telling us it was a type of (bearnaise) sauce that should be cold. While all this happened, a waiter was moving chairs out of our room into another. In the end they didn’t want to recognize anything had been wrong. No discounts or even an apology.
I had dinner and breakfast here and whilst both were reasonably good, neither could be considered great. The dinner was quite nice and I liked the smoked chicken. The restaurant has a good atmosphere and the staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was buffet style with the usual mix of continental meats and cheese, selection of breads and pastry, with boiled and scrambled eggs.
