Lucky Corner Vietnamese Cuisine At Westview

Lucky Corner is one of, if not THE best restaurant in Frederick. My wife and I loved our meals, which we will be prompt to order again! If you have any doubts about this place, you shouldnt. Absolute class from the staff to the food

I got five items, but had to throw away 2 of them (the papaya salad the mango sticky rice). I ordered 2 types of spring rolls (shrimp with veggies and tofu with veggies). They were were delicious; the peanut sauce was adequate. I apos;m not sure what type of salad I received it was not papaya (pictured below) and it was pretty, but tasteless so threw it out. The mango sticky rice was horrible the rice was too sweet and there were little "lines" (not part of the mango and about a third the size of a long grain rice) on half the mango which was too ripe. They did not move so I doubt they were bugs but I apos;ve never seen anything like it (that did not move) except for seasoning and there were only a few (about 9) on 1/3 of the mango so probably not seasoning. Threw this out, too. What was delicious was the shrimp vermicelli under the "lemongrass" heading. There was no lemongrass seasoning (that I could taste), but it was delicious.

I have been ordering Lucky Corner for 2 decades. Impeccable!!!! But I dont know what has recently changed. I had 2 orders in a row that Im disappointed with the food. New manager? New owners? Not sure what has happened.

I could eat here everyday and it wouldnt be a bad choice because its so affordable and fresh and healthy!! I have an insatiable hunger for the pho broth. 15/10 stars

I always love the food here and es the fired rice combination. Great comfort food
