May's Restaurant - Frederick

I had a really awesome experience at may's :) My family and I normally go to seafood markets and buy crabs by the bushel to eat.

May's restaurant was such a treat for this land-locked Denver girl.

Best crabs we have had in a very long time when it comes to size, taste of meat and price.

Went for a ladies night out for a birthday. waitress was great. food was good. a few crabs were mushy and empty but we ate our share. my only complaint was that 2 of us had bariatric stomach surgery. can't eat alot. 6 crabs were around $27, all u can eat was $28 with just crabs and fries, which we were not gonna eat. we asked for a kids price on the all u can eat and were told no. but several weeks prior to that night they allowed our card from our dr to be presented and gave the child price. I understand we can order a kids meal or a regular meal and take home what we don't eat but the prices are $1 different for all u can eat or 6 crabs. they most certainly make the money. besides that issue. we had a great waitress, always checking on us and she was busy with several tables.

We cannot thank Fay, Mindy, John and all the May 's staff enough for our fabulous 'Welcome to the Wedding Weekend ' party last week! We had family in from all over the country and what a treat to experience an authentic Maryland crab feast! We had about 80 people out on the patio, but the service could not have been more attentive and personable. Our guests have been raving about the delicious food and fun, casual atmosphere! Thank you so much and we look forward to coming back when we are in Frederick! Carolyn
