The chocolate torte I ordered had peanuts, which was not mentioned on the menu and caused concern for my fiancé who has a severe peanut allergy. We ended up ordering an extra cheesecake, feeling like it was an unnecessary upsell. Additionally, the waitress did not disclose that sodas were $2.95 per glass, which added unexpected costs to the bill. One of our companions received a dish with Brussels sprouts despite requesting them to be left out, and coconut rice was missing from another dish. The service was lacking in attention to detail, with the server even instructing one guest to sniff their drink to ensure it was correct. The bill was also presented to us to write out individually, which was inconvenient for a party of 10. Overall, I spent $155 on the meal and tip for two people, expecting better service. Hopefully, it was just an off day and things improve in the future.
Sat on the patio, it was the perfect weather. My daughter and I had the Rib-eye and the pasta and it was delicious! I had an expresso martini that was amazing! The service was outstanding, I definitely recommend this place on a quiet weekday evening. Not sure what the atmosphere is like on the weekend but on a Tuesday evening it was absolutely perfect.
Great dinner experience. Overall the food was perfectly cooked and the service was spot on. We enjoyed half priced appetizers and a number of excellent entrees including the braised beef, NY Strip, Ribeye, and the Pork Chop. The wedge salad and beetsalad were nicely prepared and generously portioned. Definitely will be back.
Despite the recent growth in the area, it can be difficult to find restaurants in Fredericksburg that cater to dietary restrictions, such as gluten-free options. However, my wife has several restrictions and when I reached out to several establishments for a New Year's Eve dinner, Navajo Grill was the only one to respond positively. The executive chef personally came to our table and worked with us to create a perfect dinner for my wife, which included scallops, rice, and vegetables. My meal of redfish, rice, and salad was also delicious. The service was excellent, and the location was convenient and upscale. We will definitely be returning whenever we visit this special part of the Texas Hill Country.
We were very impressed by the crab linguine at this restaurant. The margarita-style drink we ordered was also delicious. The Crème brûlée was truly memorable! The only issue we had was that our waiter seemed to disappear occasionally, but overall he was very friendly.
