Granite House Lounge - Fredericksburg

Since I live in Fredericksburg, I'll probably regret this , but yummy! Had the fried green tomatoes b- jum , shrimp and grits don't get me started , top 5 chicken fried steaks I've ever had in Texas born , raised, 69 . Excellent service!Bartender Bobby is very good , professional and funny . Will go back for sure . P. S. Bread Pudding to die for .

We got there as soon as they opened and we?re able to get seated right away. This placed gets packed and doesn?t accept reservations so plan accordingly. Food was great! You HAVE to try the fried green beans and the mule was amazing. Location issmall but intimate. Parking is limited. Highly recommend adding this to your list when in town. We will definitely be back

Mark thought it was time for a date night tonight. So we took a drive on 2093 and ended up here, at Granite Lounge. Everything is as good as it looks and so glad we tried it for the first time. The peach sangria was quite nice!

Where do I even start? We were told about this spot for dinner by a staff member at Slate Theory Winery and OMG am I ever so thankful!!! Lets begin with the staff. From the gentleman at the door to the bartender and waitstaff, the moment you walk upyou feel very important to each and everyone of them. The gentleman at the door remembered my fiancés name and phone number aswe returned the very next night (that's right it was so damn good we went for dinner two nights in a row) and the bartender (hername escapes me) she also remembered us (and its not due to a small crowd this place stayed full) and Bobby sweet Bobby made usfeel like royalty. And now the food and drinks... my mouth is watering just thinking about it. The drinks are masterfullycrafted and delicious. I enjoyed the blueberry pomegranate mule ???? and my fiancé had the old fashioned. Night 1 my fiancéand I shared the voodoo shrimp, oysters baton rouge and the chicken fried steak. Night two we shared the voodoo shrimp, oystersbaton rouge, brie and bacon jam flat bread and the house pasta. every single bite was mind blowing, I cannot comprehend how foodcan taste so good. We will always return on each visit to Fredericksburg. P.S. Granite House is an eclectic charming place witha very New Orleans vibe.

First time visit. Great atmosphere and really good service. We had the Shrimp Louis salad and Shrimp and Grits for our main. Excellent food. Cocktails before dinner were Sazerac and Manhattan. All excellent. They get busy on the weekends but lots ofindoor and outdoor seating. We sat in the bar and had a very nice person waiting on us. They hustle! Fast service and kitchenwas in high gear, completely full but quick serving times for drinks and food. Enjoyed the garlic fries as an app withCocktails.
