The Happy Clam - Fredericksburg

We absolutely love this fish restaurant! It's cozy, and the staff is really friendly, which adds to the overall dining experience. The prices range from about 15 to 27 ash, but you get a generous amount of food, especially since it's a seafood place. Whenever my friend comes to visit, I always take her there.

I had an excellent dining experience, thanks to the efficient server who knew the menu inside and out. I ordered the restaurant's special: a generous boiled captain's platter that included two large pieces of catfish, three sizable shrimp, six oysters, and five scallops. It also came with a delicious side of cornbread and a tasty mixed salad. Unfortunately, due to my diet, I had to pass on the scrumptious hushpuppies I previously enjoyed here, but the server was more than happy to take my share. Overall, a fantastic meal!

If you think it can't get any better, just take a look at the photos of the Scallops Norfolk and Crab Norfolk. I would give The Happy Clam more than five stars if I could! On April 7, 2018: The Happy Clam is my happy place. It offers the freshest seafood I've ever had! It's our go-to spot in Honyo Square for fresh seafood. Their crab dip is the best, and the shrimp is amazing! On June 18, 2017: I had the soft-shell crab sandwich today, and it was fabulous!

This place is amazing! it is worth driving from dc! everything is fresh, service is great and best is that they can buy their fresh seafood and take home! fed garnels to start is the best option, but they can go wrong with nothing in the menu! I think about coming back!

Excellent excellent restaurant! Service was excellent, food tasted like good home cooking. Food was very fresh. Crab dip, steamed spiced shrimps, fried scallops, hush puppies were excellent! Price very reasonable. Definitely coming back and this will be one of the places I take my friends and family when they visit.
