I've always received a warm welcome at Whittingham's. The decor section features a delightful assortment of unique items, reminiscent of a Southern gentleman's store but with higher-quality selections than you'd typically find at Pottery Barn or Williams Sonoma. The kitchen area is well-stocked, offering everything from everyday wooden spoons to professional chefs' knives and aprons. Anyone from Fredericksburg knows Mr. Whittingham as a refined, soft-spoken gentleman with impeccable style, and my husband finds him quite amusing! Prices vary, ranging from reasonable to extravagant, but simply strolling through the store is an enjoyable experience. Be sure to visit and don't hesitate to greet the staff with a warm smile; if you don't receive one first, they'll be sure to return the gesture!

Tom was incredibly helpful in assisting me with selecting items for a wedding gift and even wrapped them for me. The shop is filled with a stunning array of items, including unique specialties that can be difficult to find elsewhere. While I was visiting, I noticed they were also conducting a cooking class, which I think is fantastic—it would make an excellent holiday gift!

I love this store! They have something for everyone. House decor, kitchen items, cooking classes, and more! Be prepared to spend a lot of money, you're going to want everything!
