Umi Japanese Fine Dining

It was a full house on a Monday, and I was lucky to snag the last available table. The sushi, as always, was fantastic, both in terms of flavor and presentation.

It’s an okay restaurant, but the service is quite slow. I wouldn’t return.

Don't believe the estimated time they give you for your pickup order. They have never been on time; you can expect to wait at least 15 minutes longer than the longest time they quote you.

Anytime I'm hungry for sushi I come here. They have never disappointed.

I usually go into detail with my restaurant reviews, but this place keeps it wonderfully simple. The sushi here is unbelievably good—so much so that you wouldn’t expect such quality in Fredericksburg. If I were to eat here with my eyes closed, I’d easily believe I was in Miami at one of the top sushi spots. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.
