McDonald's - Fredericton

We came here with 4 or 5 friends. The order clerks just kept placing orders on the counter one after another for people that were there. They were not filling the orders very fast, and when they came to the counter with an order, they were all in take out bags, even if you were dining in. When they listed what was in the bag, you could see mass confusion with the people standing around as there were so many people standing waiting for orders. This was the poorest service I have ever had at McDonalds.

The food at this location is decent. The staff here possess two qualities. Firstly, they are extremely pleasant to interact with. They are polite, funny, and nice, making the customer service exceptional. However, the second quality is not so great. I understand that when they are busy, the service may slow down a bit, which is acceptable. But there are times when I am the only customer, and they are quick at the order and pay windows, yet it takes 15 minutes at the pickup window to receive a coffee or a small order. Even just providing a brief update would be helpful, so I don't start to question if they forgot about me.

Food is fair, prices good, reception area-TERRIBLE! Open area where when people come in, you haven't any idea who has been waited on and who hasn't. After waited on you go find a cubby hole to stand so others can have some semblance of order. Many wait in area where people wanting to be waited on also stand. Slow service many times.Staff is friendly, place is just poorly organized.

Arriving at 6AM from Saint John, i stop by for my second cup of Joe and Muffin. The person who waited on me was the sweetest lady ever, i don't want to add an age to a person, but she look like the oldest employee and she looks like she could teach a thing or two to younger employees about professionalism . She was very friendly, asked all types of questions making sure i didn't forget anything. i do not know her name but it is not my first time that i stop by this early and she is there every time and always in a good mood.

Since my daughter works at this restaurant, I can attest to its cleanliness. However, the downside is its close proximity to the school, resulting in a daily rush between 11 am and 1 pm. It's best to use the drive-thru during this time, as the inside can get quite hectic.
