Mcginnis Landing - Fredericton

Every Thursday they have happy hour and half price on food like nachos, wings and lots more. Love their nachos.

Whenever I visit Fredericton, I go to McGinnis Landing for one of their famous juicy burgers. Never again. Tonight I was served a burger that was cooked so long on the grill that there was no juice left. It had the flavour and texture of salty shoe leather. My burger sat so long under a heat lamp that the bun was dried out as well. The fries also suffered from being under the lamp. Normally they are fresh and crispy. These fries were mushy and tasteless. The restaurant was not busy, yet it took 35 minutes to serve us a burger and a taco. The waitress, who dropped tomatoes in my wife's lap and a lime on my jacket, at least did the right thing by not charging me for the burger.From where we were seated, we could see the kitchen, which is how we knew that my burger sat so long under a heat lamp, we noticed the wait staff constantly chiding the cooks for errors and delays in other people's orders.With Relish now closed and McGinnis Landing no longer making a good burger, where does one go for a good burger in Fredericton?

We ate at McGinnis Landing on a Friday Night (March 31) because our previous experience back in November was positive...however this time we were severely disappointed. The atmosphere was extremely loud...service was slow...we waited almost an hour for our food to arrive at our table. When it arrived it was cold. Our server was pleasant but the food was a disappointment compared to the previous time when it was delicious. We ordered the same item off the menu but there was no comparison in the quality of the food. Not sure we will spend our food dollar there again...at least not any time soon.

I've been to McGinnis many times but I've never had a server like Sam. Sam was amazing and took great care of our table of 14. Sam also went out of her way to make me happy with both drinks and food.Thank you and I'll definitely come again.

Waitress was good. Speed of food was fast, however the taste was lacking. Not very clean inside, needs to be updates asap.
