The Joyce Pub - Fredericton

The staff was excellent, the service was great, and the location was fantastic. I ordered the salmon in parchment, and the waiter was right when he advised me that it wasn't a large portion.

What do you do when your husband is away and you live in downtown? You take a stroll to James Joyce, enjoy a tasty Caesar salad, and sip on a glass of Chardonnay outside on their patio. Pamela was an outstanding server! It turned out to be a lovely evening.

I visited this restaurant for the first time, and the staff were incredibly polite and welcoming. Having dined at many restaurants around the world, I can confidently say that they serve the best nachos I've ever had. My husband and I will definitely be returning, and I really wish I could tip the chef as well. Overall, I’m very pleased—thank you for the fantastic service and the relaxing atmosphere. My waitress received a generous tip, and thanks again to everyone!

Tonight I had just a snack here, but in the past, I have eaten here several times. A great place not just for pub grub, but to really try and test all the best craft beers Fredericton has to offer. Always very nice staff. Tonight I had the Yip Cider which was clean and crisp and the breaded buttermilk chicken wings. The honey garlic sauce was authentically Asian and delicious, meaning, it was more like a sauce you would get with sushi instead of a thick North American sauce you get at Sobeys. The blue cheese dressing was even better when coating the wings. A great place for friends or colleagues.
