Mekong Thai - Frederiksberg

Very nice food for a very reasonable price. It is a bit of a walk from the city center but worthwhile doing. Please make sure that you have cash if you are not Danish since they won't accept foreign credit or debit cards.

First off a bit of background... We have visited this restaurant a few times in the past and have thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service... This review has been made after our most recent and last trip to this resturant.. We were seated with a view into the kitchen where we could see the chef emptying the bin and not washing his hands.. At first we weren 't sure whether to leave or stay, we ordered our food and figured he had simply forgotten.. For the 'chefs ' next trick, he dropped a frozen pre marinated box of chicken onto the floor with all the pieces scattering out.. He then proceeded to pick each one up and begin to use them to make our dinner.. At this point we walked out disgusted at what we had seen.. Disgusting and utterly disgraceful resturant.

Great authentic thai food place. The prices are great too. Highly recommend this cosy restaurant! The set meal deal is nice too and a great value.

Great food, quickly and nice service. Tom-yum soup here is best in town. Very nice salad and main court with beef in peanut and chili sauce is my favorite. Duck in sate sauce is nice too. Ask for extra spicy if you are fancy with chili spicy food. Fried udon noddle here are better than the one I tried in Japan and Thailand. The waitress are friendly and always smile, but can not speak any Thai. I guess they are from China or Vietnam

The food was lovely, not sure that there's more that can be said other than if you love good Thai food then this is a place to go.
