That's why I thought it would be an exceptional experience to taste real sushi near to the sea, as far as I don't have that opportunity back home. Sadly, this experience was not at all the best in my life. Although the design is nice, and the ambiance is comfortable, nothing more than that. That would be okay, and I would still go for an excellent, but the staff wasn't kind at all. We had to wait long minutes before we got seated, although the restaurant was empty. The waitress was average in helpfulness, and the staff walked around from the kitchen to the restaurant, like it was just morning, and they still had to do some cleaning, or go out for a smoke. The sushi itself was average again, and sometimes bad. Avocado maki is one of my favourites, so no wonder, why I ordered two portions. Sadly, the rice was way too hard to be enjoyable. Some nigiris had the same problem. We also ordered 3 plum wines (as there were the three of us), but the waitress didn't mention that it could be too much okay, that could be our fault, but she did not ask if we wanted with, or without ice. Of course we got is with ice, so it was way too watery. We left with no empty stomach, but for this quality, I must say, this place is overpriced. Wouldn't go there again, but for a miso soup (although it was a little too salty) and a seaweed salad (which was a little too watery), because these were the best here.
Up there with the best takeaway sushi I've had in Copenhagen. Very flavoursome fish with great toppings. Friendly service.
I had a pleasant experience ordering take away from Let'z Sushi on Godthåbsvej. The estimated delivery time was an hour but within 30-40 min. The delivery guy rang the doorbell. I ordered Let'z 1, tempura prawns and soy beans. It was as I expected with temperatures, fresh and delightful taste and perfectly seasoned. You get what you pay for As I see some people complaining over the rice falling apart. Here's a basic tip. Dipping your sushi into the soy on the fish side and not where the rice is you avoid looking silly with rice every where ; I'll definitely get take away from Let'z Sushi again! -Camilla
Mediocre sushi in general, with really bad rice... it's a challenge eating with sticks without the nigiri falling apart, seriously, feels like home made amateur sushi. They had two sizes of makis, oversized or really tiny, both very tasteless and boring. There is nothing positive to say about this place, just don't go there.
God take away sushi. Ikke hyggelig restaurant. Chili mayo er SPICY! ;
