Miriams Bakery - Fredonia

I went there on a recommendation from a really good friend. I was hoping to have a delightful bakery experience. I love a good bakery! Well, let's just say that we were not their type of people, didn't get a smile out of either of the two girls that were working and felt watched the entire time this is not a big place.Boxed up our order for us. Not a goodbye,hope see you again. Nothing.I'm not entirely sure why people love this place so much. Finally had the cinnamon roll that my friend had been raving about. It was okay but I've had better. I specifically asked for a custard filled Long John and when I took a bite out of it it was cream filled and disgusting.Skip it. There are better bakeries around with much friendlier people.

Cream cheese and jelly inside a donut. What else do I need to say?

Very good place to start a morning with, owner is really nice and the workers and kind as well.

Yesterday I stopped and purchased a sticky bun, 2 apple squares and 2 eclaires. I can 't say I was impressed with the person who waited on me. She wasn 't rude but neither was she friendly.When I told her what I wanted she boxed up my order and gave it to me. No smile, thank you or have a good day. This morning I had one of the apple squares only to find out it wasn 't apple but rhubarb. She never told me they weren 't apple squares. Good thing I like rhubarb! The pastries were good but I 'm not sure I would go back there again.

I loved the filling in the raspberry donut, but I was disappointed with the taste and dense texture of the rest of the donuts. The staff was very friendly!
