Zaytouna Mediterranean Grill - Freehold

Zaytouna exceeded my expectations. I have visited several Mediterranean restaurants in NJ looking for authentic Lebanese sandwiches and did not have any luck until I visited Zaytouna. It is authentic Lebanese, great, tender, fresh lamb and chicken, well seasoned and the garlic and tahina are just amazing! They adjust your dish to the way you like by adding and removing ingredients based on your preference. The service was amazing and the restaurant very clean. Encourage those looking for the real thing to visit.

Decided to try Zaytouna for dinner. It seems that it's more of a lunch place. The food was just okay. Nice selection of items but nothing stood out except for the spinach pie, hummus, and baklava. The portions were pretty big. The people working were exceptionally nice, friendly, polite, and accommodating. The whole experience was a bit disappointing.

It was tasteless ,or my taste is different ifkI ordered Mediterranean rice bowl ,but the flavours didn't blend in all things were tastinh separate ,the chicken was also tasteless and so the falafelService was even pathetic only 2 guys to serve so wait time is lot if there's a queue ,i literally waited 40 mins for 2 bowls which hardly took 5 mins to make .

I highly recommend Zaytouna Mediterranean Grill for their delicious food and excellent service. Their Lamb Shawarma is my absolute favorite dish, and I look forward to visiting this place on a weekly basis. The staff is always friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even better. I also love their whipped garlic sauce, which adds the perfect flavor to any dish. The food is always fresh and prepared to perfection. If you're in the mood for authentic Mediterranean cuisine, Zaytouna is definitely the place to be!

We felt like eating mediterranean food and we choose to give a shot…i don't know she was the owner or what but was so rude…we had a kid with us and you know how kids are they take their own time to get the dish to make sure they like what they get..first he thought he will get the sauce in the sandwich then he thought he will get outside and finally the small kid made up his mind and told the lady very politely that can i get sauce inside the sandwich…the lady so rudely said no and next thing she said you want sandwich or not..for the people who reading the review(the sauce decide took max 15 seconds)…so we had literally had to stepped out the store because its never only a food..people want good service.So please choose wisely before stopping at this place..because after a long hectic day..when you go for dinner outside, you expect people to talk nice and all…but sadly not in this place at all …wasted my time
